Product Reviews: ExSim-Max for CISA

I found the Boson CISA materials to be very helpful in extending typical concepts to include subtle details. The explanations provided many key distinctions, and the tips provided helpful points to consider. I experienced remarkable support to questions I raised to Boson – helpful and pertinent responses were very quickly provided. Thank you!

I will start with the Pros of this resource, it is cheap and the explanations are very well written. I saw this resource was recommended on reddit for other certifications and figured I would try it out after failing the CISA on my first attempt and looking for additional, non ISACA material. On to the negatives. Questions in this exam contradict the QAE, which I would think is the gold source for information. There is specifically a question regarding compliance with legal regulations that is almost a 1 to 1 copy from the ISACA QAE and has contradicting answer and explanations. This was one of a few I noticed before I just stopped using this resource altogether (1 and a half exams). As some one who studied for six months and passed the CISA on my second attempt, and going through this resource I would not recommend it.
